tummy.

as we speak finley is taking her first nap on her tummy. i can't tell you how many times i've checked the monitor, stared and made sure she's still breathing. yes this is how we all slept growing up, but now we have too much information and this makes me very nervous. lots of babies sleep like this, she's just never done it before. she's almost 4 months and has really good head control, but you just never know. we had a bit of a rough night last night so i know she needs a good nap and her normal 38 minutes isn't really all that good in my book. so we'll see how she does and i'll just watch her like a hawk. and now i'm back from getting her back to sleep. slept for 45 min, took me almost 30 min. to get her back to sleep. huh, not sure that's worth it but she's so dang tired! :) oh finley...
